Thrift Tip Thursdays!

So, I wanted to give Tips to thrifting if you may be a novice thrifter or just want new information. These tips every thursday, will help you when peruse the infinite rows of clothes at Le Thrift!

Tip #1 TRY ON EVERYTHING!! I repeat try on everything! I know what you're thinking... why try it on when the size is right there? Well guys, most things at the thrift store is from different era's, so a size 14 from the 50's may in fact fit your size 10 frame! Consider this my lovelies, if you like it, TRY IT ON! :)

Hola guys!!!!

This dress is hot! (if you couldn't tell by the title) Although, I'm a Texas Pete type of gal :) 

The temperature is still dialed to Hell fire here in VA, so what better way to combat that then a nice airy , flowy, light dress?

I first wore this beauty, when I went to New York for the first time, last summer!! I just love how effortless it was, and chic at the same time. I found this some time ago at the Salvation Army I believe, for $2!! :) I tied up the front to add some flair, and threw my favorite clutch in for good measure.

Serengeti...

Y'all aint ready to take it to the serengeti...(famous Lauryn Hill line) lol

 So yea, how beautiful is this scenery?? Yes, a beautiful day to linger in the nature. 

I felt my outfit today echoed the wildness :) Wore this for Lunch with my friends!

Since the heat wave has now simmered down, I was able to take a few shots before melting into a chocolate puddle lol.

Polka Dotted Americana

I had loads of fun this 4th of July! The friends, festivities and of course FIREWORKS!!! I just wanted to share a quick glance into what I wore. So, yea if you couldn't tell.... I LOVE polka dots! lol These happen to be only two of those pieces from my growing repertoire.  I love the play on the american flag with the big dots and the small dots :)
